Baked macaroni and cheese recipe

Hye readers ;)

It's pretty hot nowadays. Lately, I always woke up in the middle of the night disturbing my sweetdreams as the body sweats to the maximum..Luckily today, the weather is not that hot due to the rain.

Okay2 let's stop talking about the weather. Let's just proceed to the recipe of the day. All right it is time for pasta today. Talking about pasta, there are varieties of pastes availabale in this world and one of them is macaroni. As far as I concerned, there are a few types of macaroni that I have seen in the market such as elbow shaped macaroni, pipe shaped macaroni, macaroni in shells, fusili(corkscrew) etc.


Ada bentuk ribbon ah, siku ah, kerinting ah..Macam-macamlah pendek kata..

and I couldn't imagine how would it be if I were to cook baked macaroni using the colourful macaroni called Swiss Macaroni Tricolore. Cam kat bawah ni..mesti cantik je kan nant dah siap masak..hehe..nak try ah nant..tapi susah nak cari swiss macaroni tricolore ni kat tempat i nih..ishh seme pon takde..haha..agaknya tak mendapat sambutan kot kat sini..takde org suka makan..haha

Tonight, I just wanted to take this opportunity to share the recipes of baked macaroni and cheese. Actually, I cooked it last month due to the craving of eating it.. It has been for ages I didn't eat macaroni. For your information, macaroni is not really my first choice when it comes to eat pasta as I prefer to eat spaghetti more. Tapi once in a while tekak tu adalah terasa nak makan kan. So teringinlah nak masak ;)

I still remember, the first time when I was introduced to macaroni. It was 12 years ago when I was in secondary school.. Korang ingat tak lagi subject ERT? Ekonomi rumah tangga? Masa subject tulah, I learnt to cook macaroni and it was marvelous as we referred to the recipe in the textbook to cook it. It was done in the kitchen class. Suka sgt masa tu sebab sedap kot. Plus dapat masak ngan kawan2.. hehe.. Tapi sygnya dah tak ingat lah cara masaknya camne.. dah lama sgt..Yelah lepas buat lam kelas tuh, takde pun praktikkan balik apa yg dimasak tuh. so for sure mudah je lupa camne nak masak mende alah tuh..

Tapi disebabkan lately rasa nak makan macaroni balik, so I started to google back the recipe from the internet.. Yelah mana tau kan jumpa resepi yang sama cam dsalam buku teks ERT form 2 tu..hehe

Before this lau nak makan macaroni, I just masak bodoh camtuh jelah.. Yakni goreng jelah.. So ni tekak semacam plak sebab tetiba terimagine macaroni bakar berkeju..hehe..Apa lagi hasil google-lan, I found this recipe:

My paddle pop apam belang part III

Hye readers..

Bertemu kita lagi di hari2 yg sangat panas ni dengan entri terbaru yg masih bertemakan apam belang.. Sebenarnya takde apa sgt pun nak cerita just nak sharekan gambar-gambar apam belang 3rd edition that I made last week.

Tujuan apam ni dibuat lagi adalah atas beberapa sebab:
1) nak buat balik umah my parents sebab Alan suka sangat apam ni (berselera sangat dia makan).



2) Nak improvise warna apam. Yg haritu tak cukup interesting. So kali ni nak bagi nampak lagi cantik.

3) Gian nak buat corak lagi.

4) Teringat my friend cakap twins dia suka sgt makan apam belang yg I bg ni.



Ni gambar diorang masa baby.. Sekarang dah besar pun.. ;p
Sian diorang dapat makan sket je arituh sebab bagi sikit je sampai mummy diorang cakap tak cukup ;)



5) Kasra Alia pun cakap mama dia suka apam tu and suruh buat lagi, so bila dengar permintaan tinggi semangat makin berkobar-kobar nak buat lagi..

Maka kat bawah ni adalah hasil the 3rd edition of my apam belang a.k.a apam paddle pop sebab bila siap layering part dah rupa colour ice-cream paddle pop ;p

Ok, bila dah berjaya dengan cemerlangnya buat apam ni. Persoalan yg berada di minda sekarang ialah kenapa apam ni bila masak jadi cam apam mekar yg kecik2 tu..bila nasak dia macam pecah kembang mekar seperti gamba di atas ni? hahaha..

So I did come up with a few inferences:
1) maybe it was steamed more than 30 minutes..So bila dah terlampau gebu, possibility nak pecah tinggi..

Why did I come up with such inference..
The reason is based on the 2nd edition of my apam belang.. See the picture below:


(haa, nampak tak dia cam merekah sket..tu lebih beberapa minit je tuh dah nampak rekah sket-so arituh lebih banyak minit,dat's y rekah banyak)

Tak tahulah betul ke tidak inference yg dibuat..Hanya andaian di minda je.. So sesape yg terbaca blog ni and sgt expert bab2 masakan ni dan tau kenapa dia jadi camni, boleh tak tolong komen kat bawah ni.. I really wanted to know why dia jadi camtu agar next time dia tak jadi dah camtu ;)

p/s: yg tau nape kek yg elok di masak pon sometimes merekah pon boleh bagi explaination..I nak tau sgt nape ye.. Thank you ;)

Resepi Apam Belang

Assalammualaikum.

Hye semua. (^__^) Entri harini sebenarnya nak cakap sal dapur.. Sebenarnya hajat di hati dah lama sebenarnya nak update pasal resepi-resepi dan masakan- masakan yg pernah dimasak. Tapi disebabkan kesibukan kerja dan banyak urusan lain yg lagi harus dibereskan, maka dilupakan dulu hajat nak menupdate blog.

Tapi disebabkan ramai dah tanya kan pasal resepi apam belang a.k.a apam paddle pop a.k.a apam rainbow a.k.a apa sajalah yg korang nak panggil hehe, so here we go, akan dbgtau resepinya kat bawah ni together ngan cara-cara nak membuatnya ya.

Ok, sebenarnya nak cerita kat korang ni, macammana cerita I started to enjoy doing this apam. Ceritanya sebenarnya bermula masa I mengidam nak makan apam.. Mula-mulanya ingat nak buat apam kembang mekar je, lepas tu siap beli bahan bagai, then tak terbuat-buat pun.. Sampailah satu ketika tu tetiba my beloved housemate Kasra Alia pun kenalkan I ngan satu blog ni, which is blog Kak Ita masam manis

Ya Allah suka sangat ea kalau tengok blog Kak Ita ni.. Masakan dia tuh Nampak menyelerakan sebab makanan yg dia amik gambar tuh Nampak cantik-cantik, kemas dan menarik terutamanya kek-kek dan kuih kuih dia. Disebabkan ada ternampak satu resepi apam ni yg sangat cantik ni, so I decided to try..hehe.

So kat bawah ni adalah cerita macammana my first attempt to cook this apam belang..

Nilah rupanya my first attempt of apam belang yg belum dikukus..nampak cam ok kan?? (Nampak jelahhh...haha)



Tadaaa..Nilah rupa my firt time apam belang..memang tak boleh blah ea..tak jadi apam tapi jadi kuih lapis..hahaha..keras.macam marble floor...
Nak tau tak nape dia jadi camni..Ni sebabnya tak cukup gebu ah masa pukul telur ngan gula tu.. So, korang kalau nak buat, sila ye pukullah sampai betul-betul gebu..Kalau tak dia memang takkan jadi apam hokay..hehhe..

So bermulalah episode tak puas hati sebab tak berjaya kan.. Sedih sgt.. Kebetulan ada saudara jauh dari K.L lak nak dtg.. Dahlah papa dah gebang kata I ngah wat apam ni untuk diorang makan.. CEhhh bila tak jadi apa lagi, sgtlah sedih n frustrated.. Tambah frust bila org dtg umah tanya mana kuihnya yg I masak..haha..pengalaman betul.

Starting from that moment I decided to try again sebab I yakin kegagalan hari tu adalah disebabkan adunan dipukul tak cukup gebu.. So apa lagi bersama Kasra Alia, I pun sedaya upayalah buat my second apam dan nilah hasilnya:



I used 3 colours on that day..(green apple, light pink and orange) satu lagi colour ialah colour original adunan iaitu light cream. Semua light colours je sebab takut dia bright and colourful sgt ngan pewarna kank org takut plak nak makan. Plus takut rasa pewarna tuh pahit.



Ni rupa dekat my floral apam belang sebelum dikukus. Cantik tak? ;) Masa lepas siap buat layering ni senyum sampai telinga tau.. Rasa puas sangat.. Sebab rasa nikmat tau dapat buat artwork..Hahaha..Mesti korang nak tau kan camne I buat bentuk bunga tuh.. Senang je.. What you need is a skewer. Kalau takde skewer, u guys gunalah apa2 cam toothpick ke..make sure guna skewer ah sebab lao toothpick tuh takut tenggelam pulak lau adunan tuh dalam..hehe..
Ok bila dah ada skewer tuh dari tepi kat tengah2, korang tarik je.. Ala2 potongkanlah tegak tengah-tengah..then melintang tengah2..lepas tu teruskan potong ( buat lapan potongan) then dapatlah bentuk seperti kat atas ;)




My apam yg dah siap dikukus. Nampaknya Colour dia tak cukup mengancam ah.. In the future kena buat bagi colour dia bright sket ;) baru Nampak interesting.



Ok tu jelah cite die.. Panjang kan cite dia.. Haha yg nak tau resepi tuh mesti tension je sebab kena dengar cite ni dulu sebelum dapat resepi kan..haha takpelah sharing is caring right?? Okaylah taknak cakap banyak so just nak kongsikan resepi apam ni kat bawah ye. Selamat mencuba ye semua..
Jangan lupa cuba tau sebab rugi tau kalau tak cuba..sedap sgt apam ni dan sgt gebu ;) Kalau rasa malas, pegi jelah beli kat kedai..hahaha tapi tak dapatlah yg segebu n sesedap resepi apam ni ;p




APAM BELANG

Bahan-bahanya:
4 biji telur
2 sudu teh ovellet
1 sudu teh esen vanila
300 gm tepung gandum
220 gm gula halus (manis apam ni sedang-sedang lemak je tau tapi kalau nak manis sket bleh tambahkan lagi gula10-20 gm
250 ml santan kara (shamam guna 200ml santan kotak + lagi 50ml air)
1 sudu teh baking powder
Pewarna (Ikut suka nak buat colour apa ye)

Cara-caranya:
1) Pukul telur dgn gula dan ovelet sampai gebu.
(Gebu tu ialah apabila adunan bertukar menjadi putih dan nampak cam isipadu dah meningkat sket)
2) Masukkan santan dan esen vanilla kacau sebati.
3) Masukkan tepung yg diayak bersama baking powder dan kacau rata.
Bahagi kepada 3/4 warna yg disukai dan kacau rata adunan dgn warna.

Cara-cara nak membelangkan apam.
Lepas dah asingkan adunan kepada beberapa warna (make sure sama banyaklah so that dapat adunan belangan yg sekata ye), bolehlah:
1) Tuangkan selapis demi selapis ikut warna yg diminati.
2) Satu tuangan bersamaan dengan 3scoops of tablespoon.
3) Pastu dah habis 3scoops tuh, bolehlah letakkan another 3 scoops of different colour.
4) Teruskan menindan sampai habis. Masa duk sibuk melapis tuh, bolehlah pegi panaskan periuk kukus ea.
5) Bila dah siap semua, bolehlah kukus 30 minit sehingga masak.

Berserikah kuih seri mukaku? ;p

Holla everyone..

Lapar tak hari ni? Kalau tanya pasal lapar ni, memang 24 jam lapar kan. Nak2 yg jenis suka makan ni kan (cakap pada diri sendiri ;p) Tambah-tambah yg suka mengidam tapi takde isi pun (cakap pasal diri sendiri lagi ;p) Cakap pasal mengidam ni, it started with when I started to crave to eat seri muka. Dah lama sgt tak makan kuih tu. At first just I had just craved for it and I started to urge my mother to cook it. My mother however, kept on asking me to buy the ingredients first then she would cook for me. Biasalah, pemalas punya pasal nak pergi kedai, I kept on delaying it until one fine day I accidentally saw a recipe posted by my ex-teacher via fb. Looking at the seri muka picture itself made me started to drool crazily as it had me couldn't bear anymore. As a result, I decided to go quickly to find the igredients needed to make seri muka on that particular day and decided to do it by myself with the supervision of my mother :)

So, here I would like to share the recipe that I used in order to cook seri muka which I took from My Resepi:

Bahan-bahan ( size loyang 22cm / 3'' )

Bahan lapisan bawah:-

  • 500gm beras pulut
  • 400ml santan cair
  • 1 st garam
  • 2 sm minyak

Bahan lapisan atas:-
  • 120gm tepung gandum
  • 3 sm tepung jagung
  • 140gm gula
  • 3 biji telur
  • 450ml santan pekat
  • 1/2 st garam
  • 300ml air + 10 helai daun pandan dikisar utk dijadikan air pandan (bagi yg tak mudah nak dptkan daun pandan..boleh digantikan dgn 1 st pandan paste)

Cara-cara

  1. Untuk lapisan bawah:-
A) Sediakan kukusan terlebih dahulu. Biarkan air mendidih.
B) Bersihkan beras pulut dan direndam selama 10-20min.
C) Toskan beras pulut. Tak perlulah lama2 sekejap je pon boleh.
D) Satukan semua bahan2 didlm loyang dan dikacau sedikit agar minyak dapat diratakan.
E) Kukus diatas kukusan yg telah sedia mendidih selama 20-30min.
F) Keluarkan loyang dari kukusan dan ratak an permukaan pulut tadi.

(Tekan-tekan sampai sekata dan padat)

Siap untuk dilapis dgn lapisan atas.

Untuk lapisan atas:-

1) Pukul gula bersama telur hingga kembang..sikit je pun boleh.

2) Masukkan santan yg telah dilarutkan bersama garam. Dii kuti dgn air pandan dan dipukul/dikacau lagi...


3) Akhir sekali ayakkan tepung gandum & tepung jagung ke dlm adunan tadi. Dipukul/dikacau lagi agar tidak berbiji. Hendakla ditapis adunan ini dan siap untuk dikukus!!


4) Sekali lagi dgn kukus yg sedia mendidih tapi INGAT api biar sederhana aje...letakkan loyang yg berisi pulut tadi tu....kedlm kukusan dan dgn perlahan tuangkan lapisan atas. Kukus la selama 45min atau 1jam....

PERINGATAN...kuih ini hendak la betul2 sejuk barula mudah dipotong n cantik dihidangkan...jadi SELAMAT MENCUBA!!

Okay. Tulah resepinya.. Since that was my first time cooking it, the look of the seri muka did not really turn nice.. Hehe. Luckily, it still tasted okay.

Ni lah rupa dia my seri muka..Jgnlah gelakkan ea sebab rupa dia hodoh.first time ni buat..hehehe ;)

I am a killer

Hye everyone (^_^)

It has been a while I did not write anything here right. Busy sgt dengan kerja-kerja yang menggunung. Ayat busy macamlah fokus sgt buat kerja tu kan??. Duduk main fb tak ingat plak kerja menggunung. Kalau tak dah lama siap.. Inilah manusia ;)

Actually I'm here today to share about a story that I encountered last week. Because of that incident that I have made, I don't know whether I should label myself as a serial killer or not
( Ni disebabkan susulan kejadian membunuh terbunuh tempoh hari sebelum kejadian ni ). It's not that I was too cruel to be a killer but the fact that I needed to protect myself on that particular day, had made me enable to be entitled as a killer.If I were to be investigated by FBI, I believe I would not be able to hide myself from exposing the evidence of the crime scene.


5 bodies were found there


It was not my fault. I wanted to do my work: marking all the students' assessment and finishing up all the ongoing marks with the company of someone (Akmal - Thanx a lot dear). However, staying back at night would be the biggest msitake I made as they were many of them that loved to disturb and distract me that night. I wondered why as they only disturbed me but not Akmal. Akibatnya as seen above. Nasiblah sape suruh kacau aku..

I told someone about this matter.. He said "sape yg besar sekarang? lipas ke u?". Nak tergelak juga bila dipikir-pikir. Tapi I couldn't help myself to kill them. They were like really intentionally wandering around my place. Apa lagi rasakan semburan beracun dan pijakan kaki ( tapi ngan lapikan slippers ah) memang tak ah nak stump ngan kaki sendiri kan.. Geli gelimat rasanya..
Apa-apa pun 5 ekor lipas berjaya dibunuh malam tu. Macam-macam jenis. Kesian pun ada tapi nasiblah lipas, sape suruh kacau my life. Geli kot. I couldn't imagine kalau dibiarkan die merayap-rayap kat kaki, tangan or badan.. eeee dahlah kaki die tajam-tajam..euwww

P/s: Ada org tu suruh I tanam lipas-lipas yang I bunuh tu..hehe (comel je). Memang dah tanam tapi dalam tong sampah..kikiki ;p

Resepi telur bungkus org bujang

Hye everyone.

Bertemu lagi kita di entry yg berkisarkan pada makanan dan masakan lagi..Pernah tak korang rasa lapar sangat yang amat sebab penat study ke or penat kerja ke then rasa nak makan sangat-sangat? Tapi masalahnya korang dah bosan kan asyik beli makanan kat luar je. Sampaikan semua kedai makan kat tempat korang tuh korang dah cuba kan?

Bagi yg masih belajar dan tu mesti, perkara ni normal bagi korang.. Tak lupa juga yg bujang dan sibuk dengan kerja. Situasi ni pasti normal kan? I am one of those people.. Hehe. Sampai satu saat tu, rasa cam dah tak tau nak order apa kalau pegi kedai makan sebab dah hari-hari makan kat luar.

So jangan risau. Here I would like to reveal resepi- resepi yg pantas, sempoi, mudah dan bolehlah dikatakan sedap anak tekak. (anak tekak aku lah- korang tak tahulah plak..hehe). Tapi boleh je kalau korang nak cuba resepi ni. Org yg tak reti dan tak pernah masak pun boleh cuba masaknya sendiri ye bila dah rasa lapar sgt tapi malas p kedai..

Resepi pertama ialah:

Telur Bungkus Euphoria Hana (hehe-suka hati buh nama glamer sendiri)


(2 orang makan)- lau rasa nak makan beramai-ramai pandai2lah ye tambahkan ingredient dia ye)
Bahan-bahanya:
1) Ayam (Bahagian dada/ isi dipotong kecik2)
2) 2 biji telur
3) 1tsp Asen vanilla
4) Oregano+ serbuk lada hitam (exceptional)
5) Tepung jagung sesudu
6) Lobak merah
7) Mix vege (exceptional)
8) 4 ulas bawang putih (ditumbuk atau di cincang halus)
9) Cili (dihiris nipis-exceptional)
10) Cili sos
11) Sedikit air asam jawa
12) Tomato sos
13) Serbuk perasa atau gram gula secukup rasa
14) Sedikit minyak untuk menumis
Cara memasaknya ialah:
1) Pukul telur bersama sedikit garam/ serbuk perasa dan asen vanilla(masuk oregano+black pepper- exceptional)
2) Panaskan sedikit minyak
3) Tumis bawang putih sehingga naik bau
4) Masukkan sos cili + sos tomato
5) Air asam jawa (bubuh sikit-sikit, kalau taknak berkuah sgt bubuh sket je)
6) Masukkan gula dan garam sesudu kecil (ikut rasa sendiri lah ye)
7) Masukkan hirisan lada(exceptional) then masukkan ayam.
8) Goreng sampai ayam masak.
9) Dah masak bolehlah tutup api dan siapkan kuali leper untuk menggoreng telur.
10) Goreng telur buat ala-ala nak goring telur dadar..Make sure cukup besar untuk masukkan ayam yg dimasak td.
11) Dah siap masak bolehlah letak ayam tadi dan dibungkus ye..

Someone's favourite donut

This entry also talks about donut. I wanted to include this picture together with the previous entry, but something went wrong, I couldn't attach it together with the previous entry. So I need to publish the new entry. Maybe it wanted to be exclusively here alone.

Here it goes one more donut which is very meaningful to me as this is someone's favourite donut:It's called as "white cashew"

Starting from now on, If I were to go to Big Apple, I will not hesitate to buy this too as eating this will remind me about you ;)

Today's entry about donuts..

I love eating donuts especially from Big Apple, J.CO's Donut and Dunkin's donut. All the donuts are irresistible even though some people consider those donuts too sweet to be eaten. For me it's just fine with me. There's a time when I am little bit craving for those donuts, buying for it would be the biggest satisfaction for the day ;)

Talking about the types of donuts that I mentioned above, I still remember when J.CO was first introduced in Malaysia a few years back, my friends totally encouraged me to follow them to queuing up long for the donut.. Haha it was a remarkable experience where once we entered the shop, it was like buying donuts in Indonesia as all the staffs were Indonesians and they served us using their dialect but it was fine for me as they gave a good and warm service anyway ;) . After all it was worth it to queuing up long.

Even though, I am the die hard donuts eater, I must admit here that I always take for granted the name of those donuts.. Haha.. Just ingat2 lupa the donuts and their name in my mind. If I were to request the donuts without being in the donut shop, I believe I won't be able to order.
Therefore I would like to post a few pictures of those donuts that I always ate together with their names for me to remember in the future without trying so hard to point my finger at the glass counter to buy those donuts " nak yang ni..yang ni..yang ni and yang ni..." hahaha (mesti korang pon pernah camtu kan? ;p )
